Got a small joinery job?Find someone who can do it.

Big joinery firms are booked out for months and rarely take on the small stuff. We connect you with local joiners, apprentices and skilled tradespeople who have spare evenings, weekends and quiet days — and actually want the work.

Free to post · No obligation · You agree the price directly with the joiner

How it works

  2. 2Get connectedWe put your job in front of local joiners with availability and pass on who's interested.
  3. 3Get it doneYou pick who you want, agree the price with them directly, and the job gets finished.

For homeowners

Struggling to find someone for a small job?

You ring round six joiners. Four don't answer, one is booked until spring and one never turns up to quote. It isn't that the work is difficult — it's that a half-day job doesn't fit into a firm's diary.

We cover eight types of work

Keeping the list short means jobs get to the right person quickly. If yours doesn't fit neatly, pick general joinery and describe it.

For joiners

Got spare time and want extra work?

Most joiners have gaps — a cancelled week, quiet evenings, a run-in period on the tools. We pass local jobs your way so those gaps earn.

Join as a joiner

Free to register while we build the network. Registering doesn't automatically approve you for work — we speak to every joiner first.

  • Work that fits round your week

Take jobs on evenings, weekends or the quiet days between contracts. Nothing is compulsory — you only respond to what suits you.

  • Jobs matched to your skills and area

Tell us the work you want and how far you'll travel. You see local jobs in your categories, not everything in the country.

  • Build a reputation that travels

Completed jobs and customer reviews build a profile you own, so new customers can see your track record instead of guessing.

  • Apprentices welcome

Building experience on smaller jobs is exactly how the trade works. Your level is shown honestly, so customers know who they're hiring.

Trust

Knowing who's turning up is the whole problem

Anyone can call themselves a joiner. The value of a marketplace like this isn't the listings — it's being able to tell, at a glance, who you're actually dealing with. That's what we're building, and we won't pretend it's finished before it is.

  • Experience shown honestly

An apprentice is listed as an apprentice, a time-served joiner as a time-served joiner. Nobody is flattened into a generic “tradesperson” badge, because the difference matters when you're choosing.

  • Reviews earned on real jobs

Only a customer whose job was actually completed through the platform will be able to review it. That single rule removes most of what makes review sites worthless.

  • Verification that means something

Identity, qualifications and insurance checks are being built. Until a check has genuinely been carried out, no badge will claim it has — nothing on this site says “verified” today.

  • More than a star rating

Stars alone hide too much. Profiles will show jobs completed, completion rate, response rate and verification status alongside the rating.

Where we are

Starting in Perthshire, not everywhere at once

A marketplace only works if there's someone local to actually do the job. So rather than claim national coverage, we're building a real network of joiners town by town — and we'll tell you straight if we can't cover you yet.

Questions

The things people ask first

What kind of jobs can I post?

Anything joinery or carpentry related: hanging a door, fitting skirting and architrave, laying flooring, putting up shelving, building flat-pack furniture, fitting a loft hatch, or small timber repairs. If you are not sure whether it fits, post it anyway and we will tell you.

Can I post a really small job?

Yes — small jobs are the whole point. Most joinery firms are booked out on kitchens and extensions, so a two-hour job is hard to get someone out for. We are building a network of joiners who actively want that work to fill evenings, weekends and quiet days.

How much does it cost?

Posting a job is free, and it is free for joiners to register during our early launch. You agree the price for the work directly with the joiner. We do not take a cut of the job and we do not handle your payment.

Can apprentices join?

Yes. Apprentices and trainees are welcome to register, and plenty of small jobs are a good fit for someone building experience. What matters is that customers can see exactly who they are dealing with, so experience level is shown clearly rather than hidden — an apprentice is never presented as a fully qualified joiner.

Do joiners need to be qualified?

Not for every job, but you will always be able to see what someone has told us about their experience and qualifications. We are building verification into the platform so those claims can be checked properly. Until that is live we show experience as self-declared, and we say so.

One small job is all it takes to get started.

Post the job you've been putting off, or put your name down as a joiner. Both take a couple of minutes and cost nothing.

Know someone who needs this?

We're growing through word of mouth and local groups. Sharing this is genuinely the most useful thing you can do for it.
